19 texts. 19 directors. Two years in the making. 35 years to write. 10 hours, 23 minutes and seven seconds of film.

As part of its celebration of Beckett the Sydney Festival presents a rare opportunity to see all 19 plays by Samuel Beckett, beautifully and meticulously brought to film, courtesy of two Irish producers - Michael Colgan (Gate Theatre) and Alan Moloney - who realised the project over two intensively creative years.

The films are presented as nine separate programmes with Waiting for Godot, Endgame, Happy Days and Krapp's Last Tape as stand-alone films and the remaining 15 short films screened in five triple bills. Some programs are screened twice.
