@ UWS
Study Abroad & Exchange students can pursue a one or two semester fulltime study program in any UWS field of study. Definition of an Exchange and Study
Abroad student
A Student Exchange program is based on an official exchange agreement between two partner universities. Students are required to pay full fees to their home university while studying at a host university and vice versa. If you are enrolled at a university that has a formal Exchange Agreement with the University of Western Sydney you may be eligible to apply to study at UWS as an exchange student.
A Study Abroad Student generally refers to a student who enrols for one or two semesters of study at UWS, pays tuition to UWS, but credits their study back to their home institution. These students generally come from universities other than those with which UWS has an official exchange agreement. However because of quotas restricting the number of exchange places offered each semester it is possible that a student from a UWS exchange partner institutions may need to enrol as a Study Abroad student.
