How To Use This Service or Program

For Graduates

  • Graduates with disability will more often than graduates without disability opt for starting their own small business immediately after their studies. This is because it can be a way of creating your own flexible working arrangements. It can also sometimes be a necessary way of creating your own employment when no other opportunities are available. This program provides practical and financial assistance in this situation.
  • Graduates can only use this program through a Job Services Australia provider (for more detail go to Job Services Australia section) and therefore need to meet the eligibility criteria for these services.

For Employers

  • Because this is a program available to those running their own small business, it would not be applicable to employers.

For Practitioners

  • Share information about this program with students and graduates with disability where it could be appropriate that they consider setting up their own small business as a possible post-graduate employment option. However, remember the person needs to meet the eligibility criteria for a Job Services Australia (for more detail go to Job Services Australia section) provider to access this program.
