Disability Employment Network services

Disability Employment Network (DEN) Services assist people with disabilities to get and keep a job. There are over 220 services nationally, all of which are funded by the Federal Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

Job Network Members

Job Network is a group of organisations that help to find jobs for people, including people with a disability. In some areas of New South Wales, there are Job Networks that provide a specialist service for jobseekers with a disability.

CRS Australia

CRS Australia is a rehabilitation and injury management service. It provides vocational rehabilitation services for people with a disability, injury or health condition to gain and/or maintain employment.

TAFE NSW Careers and Counselling Services

Every TAFE NSW Institute provides free career and education counselling service for all students at TAFE and those that are thinking about going to TAFE. If you are a TAFE student with a disability who is contemplating your career pathway or you are about to complete your studies and start to look for work, then the TAFE NSW Counselling and Careers Service may be of assistance to you.

TAFE NSW Disability Teacher Consultant

Every TAFE Institute across New South Wales employs Disability Teacher Consultants. Each Disability Teacher Consultant specialises in working with a specific disability group. Their role is to provide a service to people with a disability to enable them to equally access education and training that TAFE provides.

Regional Disability Liaison Officers (RDLO) and Disability Coordination Officers (DCO)

The role of the RDLO and the DCO is to enhance post-secondary education, training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. There are 31 RDLOs and DCOs positions located across Australia.

Disability Discrimination Legal Advice and Complaint Services

A number of organisations are available in NSW and nationally to assist people with disabilities when disability discrimination is suspected or has occurred. They provide legal advice, information or assistance in lodging a formal complaint.
