Australian Apprenticeships Access Programme

The Australian Apprenticeships Access Programme is a new programme that assesses your skills and looks at what help you may need to get an Australian Apprenticeship or employment. They assist you in building up your work and job search skills and will also support you while you are looking for work.

Local organisations generally run the programme. The training they provide is nationally accredited. The services they provide are free and can assist you in:

  • determining whether you are ready to work, based on your skills and experiences
  • providing training in basic skill areas specific to the industry you would like to work in
  • providing assistance in your job seeking skills such as preparing your Resume looking for work opportunities and interview techniques
